Tips for Successful Lab Tables Design

1. Lab In charge / Science teachers kick off meeting to know their requirements.

2. Decide how many students are going to use the lab.

3. Size the lab to meet student requirements.

4. Decide Wet lab and Dry lab areas. (If necessary)

5. Prepare Equipment List.

6. Determine Control areas early in design.

7. Decide Wall Tables and Centre Tables requirement.

8. Ask their Opinion for Reagent Racks, Sink and Water taps.

9. Plan for General Storage cabinets and Chemical storage.

10. Coordinate Fume hoods with HVAC control system.

11. Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers to ensure well-coordinated drawings.

12. Check Door widths, Turning clearances, and Equipment paths throughout the facility.

13. Decide the Color of the tables.

14. Time period for the Fabrication and Installation.
